On the YouTube Streaming platform, you can find any content, from tutorials on how to do almost everything, videos to get in shape and a wide selection of entertainment and music videos. But one of the great disadvantages of YouTube is that when playing content from its web page, it is not even possible to use another application. But there is a solution to this problem, although it is a paid application with a fairly affordable price.
For this, in the Apple app store, you can find a very simple application to use that allows you to play YouTube videos in the background. It’s CornerTube – PiP for YouTube and you can download it from the Apple Store. It serves as an extension for Safari and allows you to use the browser in the background playing videos from the streaming platform.
How to Use CornerTube- PiP for YouTube
- After downloading and installing the application on your mobile phone, you must activate it. You must do this through Safari.
- To do this, in the phone settings and among the available options select ” Safari “
- After accessing the settings of the app in question, scroll through the menu until you find and select “ extensions ”.
- Among those available, you will find “PipTube”
- Move the slider to the Active position, and select “YouTube.com ” to continue.
- Finally, to complete the procedure, press “ allow ”
- This way, you can start playing your favourite videos in the background while carrying out other actions on your mobile phone.
You must understand that it is not an extension for the video platform application itself. But it only works when you access its content from the Safari Browser through “YouTube.com”.
