Are you looking for a video deleted from YouTube and would like to know how to do it? Here, we try to explain to you how you can try out for free. You may have come across several guides that are not really useful, but in this case, it will not be so: seeing is believing! 😉
WayBack Machine
Through the archive of web pages kept on the Wayback Machine site, it is possible to search for videos deleted from YouTube: just have the original address (URL of the deleted video), look for it within the site in question, that is web.archive.org and check if it is present. The archive is organized like a calendar, so for each time the page has been saved you will have a different clickable day: click on one and then on another until you find what you are looking for.
We have tested it and it works in many cases: in these cases, you can both retrieve and review the video and possibly save it to have it as a file, which is possible thanks to appropriate add-ons for the browser or download tools. It does not always work, however, because some sites may have been removed from the web archive or have never been considered for scanning before today, and obviously also applies to YouTube.
Also, remember that:
- not all clickable dates actually save the video;
- the video is not necessarily saved by WayBack Machine;
- it is not always possible to recover any deleted YouTube video;
- very often some videos are also removed from YouTube due to copyright problems, for example;
- it costs nothing to try 🙂
Here is a video guide explaining other methods you can use to find and watch deleted YouTube Videos:
