Microsoft unveiled the next version of its operating system, Windows 11. This will be available for free to Windows 10 users by the holiday season.
To download, install, and run the new operating system, your computer must meet several requirements. Specifically, a 64-bit CPU should power the device and have at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The graphics card must be compatible with WDDM 2.0 driver, with DirectX 12 (or later), while the display must be 720p HD with a diagonal more than 8 inches.
Thanks to the Microsoft PC Health Check application, you can remove any doubts about your computer’s compatibility with Windows 11 and find out quickly if you can run the new operating system as soon as it is available.
Microsoft PC Health Check tells you why your PC is not compatible with Windows 11
Just recently, the Microsoft team updated the PC Health Check application. In addition to determining whether or not a computer is compatible with Windows 11, it also provides a wealth of information on why it will not run the latest version of the operating system.
Before the update, the app returned a success or failure message. This is without giving any reason why the user would not have been able to run Windows 11.
With this update, if the computer is not compatible with Windows 11, the Microsoft PC Health Check app will also offer the user a few more clues about the non-compatibility of the update, whether it is a storage, security, or processor.
If you have already downloaded the application, it should automatically update at the next start. If not, you can download the app at this link.
