An update to the HP gaming line
For several years, HP has carved out a place of choice in the PC gaming segment. On the one hand, thanks to computers equipped for video games within its general public HP Pavilion range, but also with a dedicated range: the Omen brand. They have now added a new range of gaming laptops called Victus, which is positioned just between the two, both in terms of price and configuration. The latest addition to the Omen range, the 2021 edition of the Omen 16 offers high-end performance and design.
A large screen, fluid and bright
This model offers a 16-inch borderless screen, QHD resolution (2560×1440 pixels), with a maximum fluidity of 165 Hz and a latency time of 3 ms. The graphics of your games are thus sublimated, and the controls respond to the finger and the eye.
The IPS screen panel, with anti-reflective and anti-blue light treatment, offers maximum visibility from all angles and all lights.
A 100% AMD concrete configuration
Inside the machine, there are two possible configurations. One model with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and the other with an AMD Ryzen 9. On the graphics card side, you will in any case have an excellent AMD Radeon ™ RX 6600M chip, with high performance, compatible with advanced graphics features, such as the very popular ray-tracing and its ultra-realistic lights.
It has an SSD with a maximum capacity of 1 TB: enough to install many games simultaneously, a definite advantage for a laptop.
An immersive sound experience
This computer also relies on the audio part, with two speakers of very good quality developed with the Bang & Olufsen brand, equipped with HP Audio Boost technology, which optimizes and improves the sound (adjustment of bass and frequencies), to fully immerse yourself in your video games.
And thanks to the compatibility of the HP Omen 16 with Bluetooth 5.2, as well as with its two USB ports (one type A, the other type C), you can also connect your compatible headphones.
Compact design, top battery
Thin and light, the HP Omen 16 is easy to take wherever you go. With its 16 GB of RAM, it can be an excellent working tool, especially since its sober and discreet design allows it to blend into the decor of the open space: black and gray tones, far from patterns and flashy colors that sometimes characterize gaming computers.
The battery offers a maximum autonomy of 9 hours; it is also compatible with fast recharging (around 50% recharging in just 45 minutes). In short, a gaming laptop PC that neglects neither the portable part nor the gaming part!
