Samsung is preparing to expand the representation of its smartphones in the middle price range. While a specific release date for the Galaxy M54 5G has yet to be announced, the successor to the successful Galaxy M53 is already being tested across multiple platforms.
Processor
Previously, there were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G would be equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor, but this information has not been confirmed. A chipset codenamed “s5e8835” was found, which indicates the presence of an Exynos chip in the smartphone. There is no doubt that, in this case, we can only talk about the Exynos 1380 processor, which Samsung plans to announce in the very near future.
Storage and Operating System
Based on Geekbench data, this chipset has four cores running at 2.4GHz and four more dies running at 2.0GHz. It is also known that the Exynos 1380 will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM. On the amount of built-in storage, unfortunately, there is no information yet. As for the operating system, there are no secrets here – it will be OneUI 5.0 firmware based on Android 13 OS.
Display and Camera
Earlier, it became known that the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G will receive a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. On the back of the smartphone, we will most likely see a triple photo module consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a five-megapixel macro camera. On the front panel, to the great delight of mobile photography enthusiasts, a surprisingly chic 32-megapixel selfie camera will shelter.
Battery
It’s also no secret that the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G will pack a huge 6,000 mAh battery with support for relatively fast 25-watt charging. It is too early to talk about the cost of the new smartphone, but its predecessor, the Galaxy M53, is now sold at a price of just over $500.
