Despite being greatly underestimated, Fire TV Sticks are as useful as they are powerful. These devices don’t just turn a TV into a Smart TV, they literally open you up to a world of possibilities. Among the many features, you will be able to watch TV channels directly from the Fire TV Stick.
Let’s not get lost in further chat and let’s find out together how to watch TV on Fire TV Stick.
How to watch TV channels on Fire TV Stick
To be able to watch digital terrestrial without an antenna, you must have an Internet connection. In this case, however, you will also need a Fire TV Stick.
Download KODI on Fire TV Stick
The first thing you will need to do to watch TV on Fire Stick is to download the Downloader application. To do this:
- Go to the App Store,
- Press the Search button and,
- Type Downloader.
Once done, launch Downloader and, in the search bar, enter the following link:
Once you have entered the URL, click on Go and, on the next page, click on the Android icon. On the next page click on  ARMV7A (32 Bit)  and wait for the download to finish.
When the download is complete, the operating system will ask you Do you want to install this application? You have to click on Install. When this is done, a popup should appear saying: Kodi is ready to start. Click on the finish button and delete the .apk file you just downloaded to reduce the space on the Fire TV Stick.
Configure KODI for DTT
Then go back to the Home Page of the device, go to the  App Store and click on Kodi to start the App. As a first configuration, you will need to set the system language. Then, click on the gear icon at the top right, choose the Interface> Regional> Language section and set the language to your preferred choice.
Once this is done, press the gear icon again and go to the File section. Then click on Add source, then on None and enter the following link in the box:
We usually associate the digital terrestrial TV name with this source, but feel free to use whatever name you like or leave the default ‘repo’. This choice does not affect in any way the correct functioning of the add-on.
Click on OK and go back with the appropriate button on the remote control. Go to the Add-on category and click on Install from zip file. Immediately after, a popup will appear saying For safety, the installation of Add-ons from unknown sources is disabled. Then click on  Settings and enable the check next to Unknown sources.
If you look closely, you will see that the source you previously created will appear in the next window. You just have to look for the repository.wltv-1.0.0.zip file and click on it. If the procedure is successful, a popup will appear indicating that the Add-on has been installed.
Go back again, click on Install from repository, then on WorldLiveTV Addon Repository and choose the Add-on Video item. Finally, select the World Live TV Helper (WLTV Group – 1.1.16) repository and complete the installation.
Set up the World Live TV Add-on
If you have done the procedure correctly, just go back to the Kodi home page and select the Add-on item on the sidebar. Then click on the Add-on you just installed.
Now move to the Select List item and choose the item fta shown in the right column. Once selected, all you have to do is go back to the main Kodi screen.
From the Kodi home page, go to TV in the left sidebar. At this moment, you should see all the digital terrestrial channels divided by groups.
