Before looking at the components in detail, I wanted to specify that a PC, in addition to being an excellent machine for video editing and graphics, allows you to play in Full HD, reaching 1440p without problems easily. So, if you intend to have some fun after hours of work, you can also use this PC for gaming.

Processor – Intel Core I7-10700K
The I7-10700K is Intel’s flagship processor for Comet Lake (10th generation of Intel’s CPU). It is a processor capable of giving you great satisfaction, both during gaming and when working with any software.
It has 16 MB of cache, 8 cores / 16 threads which run at a 3.8GHz base frequency but are capable of up to 5.10 GHz in Boost.
The price isn’t low, but this product is worth every single penny.
Cooler – Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO
K versions of Intel processors do not come with a stock cooler. You will need an aftermarket cooler. In this case, I recommend the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO.
Thanks to its large 127mm heatsink and two 120mm fans, this product will always be able to keep the CPU temperature low, even when the CPU is under strain.
Assembly is straightforward, the appearance is attractive, and the build quality is excellent.
Motherboard – ASUS ROG STRIX Z-490-A
On the ASUS ROG STRIX Z-490-A, there is little to say. Its specifications speak for themselves. A wonderful product to see but above all to use.
We are talking about a high-end motherboard, which supports all the latest generation Intel processors and up to 128GB of RAM. It has intelligent controls for overclocking, networking, and cooling, Wi-Fi card, Bluetooth module, high fidelity audio, customizable RGB lighting via AURA.
The card includes 3 PCIe x16 slots, 1 PCIe x4 slot, 1 PCIe 1x slot, two M.2 connectors with integrated heatsink, and 6 SATA 3 connectors (6GB / s).
Video card – GIGABYTE RTX GeForce 2070 SUPER OC
The video card in computers dedicated to video editing, graphics, or 3D modeling, can play a significant role if you use software that can fully exploit it.
As written at the beginning, before buying the video card, you should understand if the programs you are going to use are compatible with CUDA or OpenCL technology. Beware, almost all software will work with any video card. However, in some cases, you won’t be able to take full advantage of your hardware. For example, Sony Vegas uses OpenCL technology a lot, while the Adobe suite prefers CUDA technology.
In this configuration, I have chosen the GIGABYTE RTX GeForce 2070 SUPER OC. Many believe that the RTX series is mainly dedicated to gaming, but this is not the case. In fact, these cards can provide excellent performance even during video editing or graphics work. And I believe that in a mid-range configuration, they are the most suitable.
The 8 GB of GDDR6 memory will come in very handy when editing videos with very high resolutions. Moreover, as previously mentioned, you can take advantage of the power of the graphics card even for gaming.
If the software you use makes a lot of OpenCL technology, always remaining in the mid-range, you could opt for the Radeon RX Vega 56. If you have a bigger budget, I recommend taking a look at the Radeon RX Vega 64.
RAM memory – Corsair Vengeance LPX 2 x 8 GB
These PCs require a lot of RAM, especially working with high-resolution video, RAW images, or 3D design.
In this case, the choice fell on the excellent 16 GB (2 x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz kit.
For a PC configuration in this price range, this kit is just fine. Of course, you can expand the RAM at any time by purchasing other RAM modules.
SSD – Sabrent NVMe PCIe 512 GB
We chose a 512 GB Sabrent NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD as the main disk for the storage memory.
For many, the Sabrent brand may be unknown. We assure you that from the tests carried out by our staff on the various configurations assembled in recent times. These SSDs offer truly excellent performance.
Having tried these SSDs, we can safely find ourselves in front of a fantastic product that has nothing to envy to the most famous Samsung, Kingston, or Crucial, indeed, quite the opposite.
The speeds declared by the manufacturer (3450 MB / s in reading and 3000 MB / s in writing), which at first glance seemed to be numbers thrown at random, are instead the real data of these fantastic nVME SSDs.
Hard Disk – Seagate Barracuda 2 TB
Video editing, graphics, or 3D modeling, in addition to brute power, also require a lot of space, which is why we chose the 2 TB Seagate Barracuda as a secondary drive.
A good disc, large, fast enough and above all reliable.
Power supply – Corsair RM750x
Such a configuration requires a lot of power and, above all, a lot of reliability. For this reason, as a power supply, we have chosen the Corsair RM750x.
It is a completely modular power supply, made with the highest quality components and 80 PLUS gold certified.
In addition to being efficient, the power supply is also very quiet. In fact, the fan will activate only when it is needed, so you will never hear that annoying and constant buzz.
Case – Corsair Carbide SPEC-DELTA
The Case for this PC is the Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-DELTA. Equipped with three RGB LED fans (included) that can be customized and controlled via software and a large tempered glass front panel.
The Corsair Carbide SPEC-DELTA is really large. It allows you to install any video card currently on the market and the mounting of 120 mm, 240 mm, 280 mm, and 360 mm radiators.
Cable management can be done without any problems, thanks to the excellent solutions offered by the case. The dissipation level is excellent, thanks to the three front fans and the large integrated network that allows a rather generous airflow.
By removing the rear panel, you can access the power supply compartment, the removable tray that allows the installation of two 3.5 “drives, and the tray that allows you to attach two 2.5” drives.
